Javelin
Records is part of the Javelin Music group of record labels and music publishing
companies, which is headed by veteran record producer/song writer John David. The label
was originally conceived to promote two exiting, but at the time, still unsigned
bands with whom John had recently worked. He was so convinced that they were
worthy of rock stardom (for want of a better phrase), that he and some music
industry friends got together and formed Javelin Records to promote and market
them. Although the company had those modest aims to start with, it has grown
quickly to encompass quality artists of other genres of music via it's off-shoot
labels such as the Roots and Classics labels. So, Javelin is forging ahead,
but remains true to it's original concept: If we think artist is good enough
and hungry enough, we are interested, no matter what their genre of music |
